Frog Face is a great read for all kids - introverts, extroverts, and all in-between - as it demonstrates true relationship building through acceptance of the things that make us different. It is also a perfect gift for a "resting frog-faced" friend, since it features a grumpy-looking - but still happy - character.
In Frog Face, Frog's negative encounters with neighbors highlight the importance of understanding and accepting differences, not making assumptions, and how (not) to build genuine connection with others. This super sweet picture book as a gentle reminder not to judge someone before you truly know them. And even though Frog might enjoy being alone, she could use at least one good friend who loves her exactly as she is.
